Develop, evaluate and certificate digital competence in your school.

Demonstration of a scalable and cost-effective cloud-based digital learning infrastructure through the Certification of digital competences in primary and secondary schools

CRISS allows schools to effectively integrate the use of new technologies in their learning processes. Thanks to CRISS students can acquire, evaluate and certify digital skills, and get prepared for the job market. Through its Certification System, based on the EU standards for Digital Competences, CRISS offers schools a great and easy way to measure and demonstrate the effectiveness of their activities and the alignment of their goals with national or European strategies.

The challenges CRISS aims to confront are:

• Provide an innovative infrastructure for personalized learning and teaching of digital competences to support and motivate teachers and students.

• Work towards the implementation of digital competences acquisition, evaluation and certification in European primary and secondary schools.

• Provide open, interoperable components for a flexible, scalable and cost-effective cloud-based digital learning infrastructure.

The overall objective of CRISS is to develop and pilot a scalable and cost-effective cloud-based digital learning ecosystem. CRISS developments will be tested in more than 490 schools by 25.400 students and 2.290 teachers around Europe. CRISS delivers user-driven and adaptive technological solutions that allow the guided acquisition, evaluation and certification of digital competences in primary and secondary education. CRISS solutions are designed with the possibility to scale to other educational levels in mind.
